Building Ideas at the Intersection of Technology and Purpose

YCB June 2024 was a dynamic and inspiring edition that continued the mission of nurturing young changemakers. Over an intensive week, students explored how technology, creativity, and social impact come together to shape meaningful innovation. The experience aimed to broaden perspectives, spark curiosity, and strengthen the entrepreneurial mindset among participants.

The program opened with a powerful session on technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, setting the tone for a week of exploration. Participants engaged with a wide range of speakers including Dr Ritesh Malik, Vaasvi Srivastava, Prof Sonia Baloni Ray, Dr Sapna Yadav, Prof Anmol Srivastava, Prof Pravesh Biyani, and Sanjeev Bikhchandani. The closing day welcomed Yashveer Singh, Tanmay Nag, and Dr Sommya Bansal for the My Idea for Change Competition.

Hands-on workshops helped students translate learning into action. They practiced design thinking, explored product innovation, built problem solving strategies, and experimented with concepts related to artificial intelligence. Immersive visits to Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Prime Minister Museum, and the IIT Delhi library and labs connected classroom learning with real world environments.
