Empowering Young Leaders Through Dialogue, Design, and Action

YouthShala A Notion of Change was held on 3 July 2022 at the IIIT Delhi campus with the goal of inspiring young people to become socially active leaders and changemakers. The event brought together more than 200 school and college students along with young leaders, educators, and social entrepreneurs, creating an engaging space for learning, collaboration, and dialogue.

The program opened with reflections by Aniket Gupta, Pragya Vats, Aashish Beergi, and Abhishek Gupta, exploring personal journeys and the importance of youth leadership. A key highlight was ChangeVarta, where students worked in small groups to identify real world problems, develop empathy for affected communities, and design potential solutions aligned with sustainable development goals. Participants discussed issues such as air pollution, mental health awareness, menstrual hygiene, school bullying, and climate change.

The event concluded with a fireside chat by Dr Ritesh Malik on leadership and intentional living, followed by closing remarks by Anil Swarup.
