Exploring Technology and Innovation for Social Impact

YCB 2023 Winter Edition was a week where ideas, innovation, and imagination thrived, turning the December chill at IIT Delhi into a season of purpose. With 35 participants from 5 states and 17 schools, the camp brought young minds together to explore how technology can drive meaningful change.

The edition featured an inspiring lineup of speakers who expanded perspectives on innovation, sustainability, and leadership. Sessions by Prof. Payel C Mukherjee and Prof. Ramgopal Rao deepened understanding of technology and its future, while insights from guest experts encouraged students to think about social impact with clarity and courage. The finale with Dia Mirza left participants deeply moved, as she spoke about environmental responsibility and compassionate changemaking.

Hands on learning formed the core of the winter experience. Students explored web and app development, experimented with Figma, discovered the power of AI tools, and witnessed live demonstrations of Brain Computer Interface devices. Workshops on deep tech entrepreneurship, business planning, storytelling, drone theory, and sustainability helped participants translate creativity into real world ideas, culminating in the My Idea for Change competition.
