Scaling Changemaking Through Innovation and Collaboration

YCB June 2025 marked the fifth edition of the bootcamp and celebrated a significant milestone in its journey of learning, innovation, and community. Fifty young changemakers from across India came together to imagine the future and build ideas that create real impact. The week offered a rich blend of inspiration, skill building, and shared purpose.

The edition featured an impressive group of speakers whose sessions expanded perspectives and sparked curiosity. Dr Rishi Mohan Bhatnagar opened the week with an inspiring address, followed by Ajai Chowdhary’s reflections on entrepreneurship. Prof Aheli Choudhary, Prof Pragma Kaur, and Sagarika Deka explored leadership, sustainability, and creative thinking. The finale welcomed Meenakshi Lekhi and Ojasvi Gupta for the My Idea for Change competition.

Hands-on workshops helped participants build essential tools for changemaking. Sessions on design thinking, problem validation, and storytelling strengthened their ability to create meaningful solutions. Workshops on AI, machine learning, and responsible use of ChatGPT introduced them to emerging technologies. Visits to Rashtrapati Bhavan, the National Gallery of Modern Art, IIT Delhi labs, and IIIT Delhi’s Innovation and Incubation Centre connected learning with real world environments.
