Young Leaders Driving Innovation and Community Impact

The Changemakers Awards 2025 were held on 22nd December as part of the closing ceremony of the Young Changemakers Bootcamp at IIT Delhi. This edition celebrated six young changemakers from across India who have been driving meaningful impact in their communities.
Awarded Changemakers:
- Girish G. Patil (23), Maharashtra – Founder, Youth Organization for Green India (YOGI): Mobilized youth for river restoration, climate action, and community-led ecological conservation initiatives across Maharashtra.
- Geet Mauli (17), Delhi – Founder, Next Nebula & PlastiNOx: Democratizes space education globally using AI, AR/VR, and innovation, making STEM accessible to underserved students.
- Lakshay Behal (20), Punjab – National Youth Climate Consortium (NYCC): Leads youth-driven climate action through large-scale cleanups, promoting civic responsibility and sustainable community practices.
- Navyaa Kochhar (17), Maharashtra – Founder, Digital Saheli: Empowers underserved and Deaf women entrepreneurs through digital literacy, enabling inclusive, sustainable livelihoods using technology.
- Parul Tomar (22), Delhi – Piramal Foundation: Uses theatre and storytelling to strengthen rural health awareness, education, and gender-sensitive community engagement.
- Rozy Maindoliya (22), Uttar Pradesh – Founder, ThirdEye: Empowering rural women artisans through sustainable fashion, reviving craftsmanship with technology for inclusive livelihoods.
The ceremony brought together mentors, educators, and participants to recognise their journeys, reflecting the growing strength of the Awards as a platform for youth-led change and leadership. Their work reinforces the belief that youth-driven efforts, and true intentions can contribute to building a more inclusive and sustainable future.
